Search Tips

Within search boxes:

• AND is automatic; all terms entered must be present in field
  (Corrosion iron)
• Use "" for exact phrase
  ("corrosion of archaeological iron")
• Use / for OR
  (light / lumiere)
• Use ! for NOT
  (bleaching ! paper)

Special Characters:

• Use * to truncate
  (e.g. system* finds
  system,
  systems,
  systematic, etc.)
• Use >, <, >=, <= for greater or less than
  (e.g. <= 2003 finds dates earlier than 2003 inclusive)
• Use : to search a range
  (e.g. 1999:2003)
